To the baddest singer to ever grace a stage, hold a microphone and totally slay a song Ali Woodson. Wood the world is sadden to know that you're no longer with us in body. Your passing has left me in a numb state of mind. There's so many memories running through my mind like the first time I saw you perform with the Tempts at Radio City Music Hall in NY, you becoming the first artists to sign with Voice Distributions, our visit to Ground Zero after 911, us shopping in Harlem for clothes, you calling me at the radio station making my dream of performing and singing The Temptations songs come true by joining the Emperors of Soul, the sound checks, the shows and so much more. Wood there's not a container large enough to hold the talent that God blessed you with. You were the deffinition of the word perfection. When you performed the fans got a great show, great singing and an ever lasting performance that stayed with them forever. Now you've gone to join your fellow Temptations Melvin, Paul, Eddie and David in heaven and I know those pearly gates are catching hell from the rush of angels running to see you guys perform. I'm going to continue taking my Love Zone listener to Ali Woodsonville, USA every chance I get by playing your music forever and keeping your spirit with me until we meet again. We had the pleasure of touring with him over the years while he was a member of The Temptations, he was such a classy man and entertainer, oh and that voice, WHAT A VOICE!!!!!, Ollie didn't live to sing, HE SANG TO LIVE, singing to him was like breathing, he just had to do it!!! We shall always carry the fondest memories of him in our hearts. Ollie is now singing on the Nightshift along with all the other greats and you gotta know there's gonna be some sweet sounds comin' down!..Respectfully. The Commodores. WAK, Clyde and J.D.

Hey Ali. We met around 15 years ago when you played in my hometown with The Tempts. I have loved your talent ever since that first time seeing you up there as the front Man in the group. It was such a joy to have you join us as guest vocalist with Tour De 4Force on their debut cd 'Quiet Moon'. It was ironic that 'Heaven Bound' would be one of your very last ever recordings too! And do you know that that song was No. 1 on the Starpoint Radio Uk Soul charts for two weeks running and the cd itself remained on the top 30 for a massive 10 weeks. It has recently re-entered the Solar Radio 'Sweet Rhythm charts' this very week too! So Rest In Peace Ollie. You were OUR Tour De 4Force.
