To my heavenly bass brother Harry. You already know that you're missed in our household. The news of your passing was truly something I was not prepared to hear. Over the years our friendship grew closer and stronger. I have not been able to rest or go a minute of my day without thinking about all the times we spent hanging out together. From backstage at various shows to the streets of New York. All of our phone conversations have been playing throughout the day in my mind just like it was yesterday. I'll never forget a part of one of our interviews when you stated that you wanted me to fill in for you with the Tempts while you filled in for me on my radio show The Love Zone. Doing The Love Zone was just one of your many unfulfilled dreams. Harry, you'll always be known as one cool brother to me. Melvin was my main man, but you respectfully earned your place on my shelf of "World Class Bass Singers." Your smiles and playful laughter on and off stage will always be forever embedded in my soul.
Rest in peace my brother, rest in peace. Sunrise:January 19, 1950 Sunset: April 3, 2006
I'm sorry to hear about Harry but God holds the key and He does no wrong! I’ve been with the Temptations since the start of times and I followed them through the years from Otis Williams, David Ruffin, Paul Williams, Eddie Kendricks (my favorite) and Melvin Franklin and then after. May heaven forever smile upon you. Rest in Peace.

I met you five years ago in Jacksonville Florida at a concert in Metro Park, with my mother who's a HUGE FAN of the Temptations, and I was just getting use to you not being with the Temps anymore when I heard about your passing. I'm hurt and saddened deeply, it was just too soon to lose such a spirited and talented brother. May God guide your path and be with you and your lovely family always. I'm happy that the one time I got to meet you was a good day.

Born in 1954, I grew up appreciating beautiful music, and the Temptations were one of my favorites. Although I can’t boast of having seen any concerts, hearing you on our local AM station lifted me up. Your hard work paid off in the form of many loving fans, and from Peoria, I salute you for the pleasure you brought to all of us.
