To my heavenly bass brother Harry. You already know that you're missed in our household. The news of your passing was truly something I was not prepared to hear. Over the years our friendship grew closer and stronger. I have not been able to rest or go a minute of my day without thinking about all the times we spent hanging out together. From backstage at various shows to the streets of New York. All of our phone conversations have been playing throughout the day in my mind just like it was yesterday. I'll never forget a part of one of our interviews when you stated that you wanted me to fill in for you with the Tempts while you filled in for me on my radio show The Love Zone. Doing The Love Zone was just one of your many unfulfilled dreams. Harry, you'll always be known as one cool brother to me. Melvin was my main man, but you respectfully earned your place on my shelf of "World Class Bass Singers." Your smiles and playful laughter on and off stage will always be forever embedded in my soul.
Rest in peace my brother, rest in peace. Sunrise:January 19, 1950 Sunset: April 3, 2006
I'm heartfelt. I didn't know about the passing of the 2nd Bass Voice of the Temptations. God Bless Bother Harry's family.

I am sorry to hear Harry is gone. He was one of my favorite singers. I was just thinking of a song that I could dedicate to my new girlfriend. Of course, my favorite song is "My Girl". I am glad that MY Girl was one of his favorites. I will surely miss your sweet voice and your great personality. God Bless you brother.

I had a feeling in my spirit this morning to go on the Temptation's website, they have always been one of my favorite groups. I wanted to see if they would be coming back to Atlanta, Ga.soon. I was sadden to hear of The man with the voice,Harry** I thought know one could replace Melvin. But God had Harry standing in the Wing. To his family at this time may God hold you close and give you comfort and know that Harry will forever be watching over you while he's out front singing with the Angels In That Heavenly Choir. God Bless you always.

I was shocked to hear of the death of Harry. I met Harry when I was still in high school in Philadelphia, and heard him sing many many nites with a local band. His dream was to get to the Temptations so, he passed on sadly, but having fulfilled his goal something many of us don't ever do. I wish him peace.. Leslie M. ...If Jesus is with me of whom shall I be afraid?
