03-22-25: Wilson's Women’s History Month
My family and I had an amazing time last night at Wilson’s Restaurant & Live Music in Hi Nella, NJ for their 1st, “Women’s History Month” program, featuring a stellar performance by the legendary songstress, Alyson Williams who just showed out!
It was an honor to meet the owner & operator Mame B Wilson, who runs a beautiful establishment, before I presented my dear friend Vannessa Jordan her gifts of appreciation for the outstanding work she does within the music industry keeping Classic Soul/R&B Music alive with her organization The National R&B Music Society Inc.
Special thanks to Radio Personality of “FrontStaage Radio Show” Cynthia Tyre who put this together less than three weeks time.
It was great getting to see some of my radio colleagues like longtime WDAS Radio Personalities Mimi Brown and Patty Jackson who were honored as well, but this celebratory evening was made even more special by having the opportunity to see some of my other industry friends and associates like the legendary Wilbert Wil Delfonics Hart of the Delfonics and his wife Sheila Hart, Stuart Bascombe of Black Ivory, former WBLS Radio Personality Debi B Jackson, promoter David M Sheppard, Cassandra Wooten of The Ritchie Family, vocalist Ashley Scott, former Atlantic City Mayor Lorenzo Langford, First Lady Nynell Langford and long time friend comedian Tattletale H P Dingle.
So if you’re ever in the Hi Nella, NJ area make sure you stop by Wilson’s Restaurant & Live Music and tell them “The Voice” sent you. You won’t be disappointed!
